The current state of communication and media platforms clearly depicts the need for privacy, as users' private and personal data is getting exploited on a daily basis. This has led to some innovations in the space as users need control over their personal data and platforms like Sylo emerged to provide that need in web3 and the metaverse after its integration with The Root network is completed.

The platform has also shown innovation by gamifying infrastructure with the Seekers NFTs, which will be used to run nodes on the decentralized network while participating users earn rewards. Through the p2p systems, the platform would provide decentralized communications for users as the Seeker nodes would act as routers, thereby preventing data from being stored on secondary or storage-off devices aka “clouds”.
