Why are scammers free to go?

Serious question: how can this be possible? Just saw how Do Kwon was live at Twitter yesterday and held a speech about, how to rescue crypto.

No need to mention how this pos truly dares to talk about „let’s make crypto great again“, while people like him are THE problem of crypto space.

Now, after the big Luna-scam we experience how one of the most trusted crypto guy Sam B.F. stole money from his customers and lost it all to „gambling“.

Okay. There are bad people out there. I get it. But how in the hell are these people free to go and not held in custody? I am checking the news every day and waiting for the news how this pos Do Kwon for example got arrested or at least has a trial going on. But somehow all crypto scammers are getting away with it. Doesn’t matter if hacker or scammer. All are the same for me.

This is the biggest issue with crypto for me. The way how easily people can loose all their investments and the sad thing is, not because of bad investment choice. It’s more like „projects“ which seem good can run away with all the money and no one bats an eye.

How will this change? Is regulation the only way? Actually we don’t want governments to lay hands on crypto, but I really can’t see any other way to make crypto more safe.
