We're 13 years in, bitcoin was designed to be a digital currency yet you can't use it to buy stuff in all but a few places. Why is this? I've had bitcoin for years and I've never bought anything with it. Almost never see the option.
Why are more people not building payment gateways so you can pay with Bitcoin / crypto? Surely this is an important step that we should be focusing on? Should all the maxi billionaires not try to make it so nornal it's like the visa sign?
Edit: I think most people are missing like point here. I've been deep in Bitcoin and crypto for many many years and actively promotion write about it. I buy and hold for the long term of course, but my point is that if we made transactions more ubiquitous it would open Bitcoin up to more people which would get them to understand and also buy more and hold for the long term. Ultimately the more people seeing it using it and understanding it will be better for the ecosystem as a whole.
