Why did fast + cheap cryptos like Nano and Algo die off?

This is not a 'whats better' but a legitimate discussion or question about what were some fairly good cryptos that solved many of the issues in terms of crypto being both fast and cheap. Both nano and algo from the last bull cycle reached fairly decent levels, as you could send cash through they very fast and next to nothing cost. These days esp nano is basicly dead.

Why?

These kind of things make me a little bearish on crypto at all due to legit seeming projects dying off and memes being one of the only things still pumping.
