Why did you buy Bitcoin for the first time?

I bought Bitcoin because I thought I needed some to test Bitcoin payments on my customer's site (similar to testing a real PayPal buy button when it was popular!). Then I said to myself, as a developer, I need to have at least one full coin! Later, I decided I needed more than one coin because if I used some for testing, it would go below one coin and that did not feel nice! I kept getting more until I forgot what I was doing, and that was when I stopped buying Bitcoin until last two years. I started to buy again because there is nothing else worth buying and I can not live without it!
