I've been full on Linux for about 6-7 years now. I love open source & I love Bitcoin, but I see a lot of open source people just dead set against it. I would think that they would be all over it, it encompasses all of the ideals that open source sets out to do, but you get vitriol responses if you even say something about it.
It seems like it always goes back to the climate hysterics or they call it "a Libertarians' wet dream". Am I missing something?
Bitcoin isn't a political thing, but they always seem to paint it as one, and it always goes back to FUD. I would just expect the open source community to embrace it more than they do.
