Why is "Dust attack" so scary?

If someone sends me money and he can't do anything about it but knowing my address

if i send it again, he could connect various addresses together and still he won't know who am i nor have access

all the information on web about dust attacks either ends with "low probability. it cost a lot now a days, could be shitcoin airdrops and promotion" or "they now will need to do educated guesses about the owner of the wallets"

so what?

In the bank, everybody can see my account address and even know the name of the owner. that still doesn't give him access and he's left with educated guesses.

advice is opening new wallets and transferring keys and more secure ways to change wallets without leaving traces

i can't understand this attack modus operandi. what am i missing?
