I’m from the ghetto, so people would have to be dumb to try to mug someone who’s always armed who grew up in Compton and knows how to recognize a mark.
The only ever attempt to mug me, out of over half a decade of wearing Bitcoin attire in one of the most populated cities in America, was a few weeks ago when people were mugging everyone in wealthy areas like Beverly Hills.
I was in my Tesla and noticed an SUV following me from the store home as my car drove me back.
They stopped two cars away from where I parked, in the middle of the street, one guy got out and walked over to the passenger door of their car while continuously looking over at me, which I could see through my rear view mirror, watching me, waiting for me to get out of my car for over ten minutes.
After confirming the mark on me by waiting them out, I grabbed my registered hand gun from my center consul and went to the trunk of my car to grab a samurai sword I always carry around to hold it in the other hand, as well as to have my bear mace handy in the trunk should I need to use it to blind an assailant or multiple assailants.
I also have gun tasers, pepper ball guns, button tasers, various flash light tasers, and zip tie riot hand cuffs in my trunk if I need to cuff someone or someones and wait for the cops to arrest us both or all, because as a brown man who grew up in Compton and has experienced our police force against someone of my complexion in CA growing up, I know cuffing someone or multiple someones would mean that I’ll have to explain it and get the footage of my car to my lawyer, who would then have to explain it and show the footage to a judge after a night or more in jail.
Sure enough, the second I got out of my car the people in the SUV got out of theirs and started walking towards me. Once they saw my gun in one hand and samurai sword in the other, they walked by and just spat on the ground next to me as they continued to walk by and then kept on going.
Even if I do get killed one day, I don’t carry my private keys or cold storage wallets with me. So while they may take my life, they’ll not take my life changing stack of Bitcoin I have saved for my family with them. At best, they’d get my chump change from my lightning wallet on my phone.
So, I’ll gladly sport Bitcoin attire to help others save themselves from the poverty I grew up with by encouraging them to DCA responsibly and save in Bitcoin instead of saving in worthless dollars that have done nothing for those like me than make our families poorer, and indenture us to debt slavery all our lives just to get a roof over our heads or a car to drive to work, for the bosses or corporations we make richer by having no choice but to work for them to pay our bills and debts
I’m out the slum thanks to Bitcoin, and I’ll keep wearing my Bitcoin attire to influence those like me to save in something useful instead of wearing a Gucci belt and unintentionally influencing them to save in a Gucci belt they’ll wear out and destroy into having no value anyway
