Why not "optmistic + ZK" instead of "optimistic VS ZK"? This would maximize Ethereum's ability to scale. Mantle is already considering this approach

I'm well aware that a lot of people share the same views that I have but regardless, there are still some that are hellbent on seeing a rivalry between the two styles of scalability for some reason

And to that is say, why not push both technologies? This ensures not only maximization of throughput and scalability, but also ensures reliability since Ethereum would no longer be heavily reliant on one single kind of scaling technology.

The reason I'm writing this post is cause Mantle is pushing the same narrative. And before anyone attacks me in the comments, YES I 'm heavily invested in Mantle and NO I'm not senselessly shilling it as I think other L2s like Arbitrum and Optimism are just as good (plus battle tested asf) and I use them practically every single day.
What I AM shilling though is the idea of L2s building both ZK and optimistic rollups.
So please, let's make the comment section more about Ethereum's growth and development (conversation about other L2s is also extremely welcome!)

I also haven't been able to find any other L2s are considering the same approach but would appreciate if anyone in the comments points out on that is cause I'd be more than willing to invest in such an L2 and push the "ZK + optimistic" narrative.
