If you've been paying attention to PolyMarket today you're probably aware of a ton of Drama currently going on. Polymarket made a prediction markets about RFK Jr. "Will RFK JR. Endorse Trump during his speech Friday". Well RFK. JR. didn't directly endorse Trump, instead he said "he supported Trump" but separately encouraged people to vote for him [RFK Jr].
So he said "support" he didn't say endorse. Well the question is, is that an endorsement? Polymarket betters largely say no it shouldn't, and here's why.
https://apnews.com/live/updates-democratic-national-convention-harris-walz Media Outlets by and large are running the story that RFK JR. endorsed Trump despite what he actually said and Polymarket agrees. As a result lots of betters now feel like they were scammed with an arbitrary decision separate from what "actually happened" during the speech. Polymarket has a history of making vague prediction markets and arbitrary decisions and it's ran them into problems with their community before. But what do you think, is Polymaket right should that count as an endorsement or not? [link] [comments] |
