Sending AAVE (or any other ETH token) from a real non custodial wallet (in my case Atomic Wallet) costs 40 USD in transfer fees paid in ETH but sending AAVE from Coinbase costs 7 USD in fees paid in AAVE. Can someone please explain this to me? I really do not understand how it is possible. How can the difference be so big? How is it possible that on Coinbase the fee is not paid in ETH but in AAVE? I thought all ETH tokens need their gas fees to be paid in ETH. I am adding screenshots from both Atomic Wallet and Coinbase Pro. Atomic Wallet - 40 USD paid in ETH [link] [comments] |
