Why you always say to invest only as much you are ready to loose?

r/Bitcoin is a group of BTC maximalists, who seek for reassurance among other people and are saying they will not sell no matter what, even if it falls down to 1k and that this is THE ONLY investment, they are ready to take because BTC is THE future of the money.

OK, fine, nice to believe that, but then, why do you suggest to people that they should invest only what they are ready to loose, if this is THE ONLY solution for the future? So it cannot fail with that logic and can only go up.

And finally, there was a post last week where BTC maximalists and the ONLY money he has, needs to sell because he cannot use it to take care of his beloved ones at home.

So is BTC really a currency, or is it just a way to speculate and get more $$ because someone else is ready to buy it at a price you are ready to sell?

Fact is that BTC will not take over money in our generation (and at critical mass, governments will take over it) but it is good to have it now, to get more $$ in the future for it. But it will not solve the inflation problem or even more, being day-to-day use for buying the stuff, such as groceries. At the end, what is the real value of BTC?

Funny thing is also the statement in the description of the group: " there is no government, company, or bank in charge of Bitcoin ", yet, FBI seized BTCs in the past, so it can do the same with everyone :)

Don't be jokes, people. Invest in BTC if you want, but don't claim to others that it is for a reason of day-to-day trade with BTC and not because you believe you will be able to sell it for more $$ in the future.
