Will holding VET in Binance.com wallet generate interest in VTHO?

Hello,

As per title, I am wondering if holding VET in Binance wallet will generate VTHO tokens as interest?

I found a post from years ago mentioning that VTHO tokens will be paid as interest for holding VET in the wallet, but so far I have yet to receive any VTHO tokens from my VET holdings in my wallet. https://www.binance.com/en/support/articles/360008868451

I have also tried contacting Binance CS but they don’t seem to understand my queries and kept saying that if I stake my VET then I will receive interest in VET.

I believe that earning VTHO from VET cokes from just holding the tokens in my wallet.. right?
