With BRICS creating a new currency and US is moving towards CBDC (social control aside) where does this leave bitcoin?

I’m not hating on bitcoin or trying to say where it’s going. I’m simply trying to understand what people’s thoughts are on where the world’s going currency wise.

It’s hard to be objective and bias when you have a lot invested.

Now that the world has somewhat of a better understanding on what countries are trying to do where does this leave bitcoin?

What value does it add? In the US and a lot of counties it’s not a decentralized system anymore since the exchanges are regulated.

Again, I’m trying to truly understand and not bashing on bitcoin.
