Worried about security

Hi all, I have been going through this sub and seems like a significant amount of people have lost their cryptos from Binance account. Can anybody suggest any link where are clear instructions how to take actions to maximize own security? Do you also consider these incidents as being traders’ own fault? I’m new to cryptos but have been trading options quite some time so my apologies if my question is dumb.
