Would an CBDC actually be beneficial and allow us to utilize DEX's?

All Cryptocurrencies

I was thinking a bit about how much power centralized exchanges have over the cryptocurrency market. The reason because of this is that FIAT and Cryptocurrency are not transferable without the middleman e.g exchanges. If we were paid in CBDC or had an option to be paid in a stable coin this would allow us to avoid these god damn centralized exchanges who abuse the market and the people. E.g Celsius and FTX doing scummy tactics for their own benefit. How possible would it be to be paid in a 1:1 federal reserve backed CBDC that is essentially the US dollar but has less chance of depegging and is legitimized by law. Just something that can interact with Decentralized Exchanges as soon as we get our paycheck would be exceptional. It might be naive of me to think that the government would comply with our wants and needs. But, it would reduce the headache of CEX's if they enabled direct exchange from various cryptocurrencies like BTC and ETH etc.

I wonder how far away it would be for us to be paid in cryptocurrency. Then we can end this nonsense.

If not, how do you suppose we arrange to get rid of Centralized Exchanges?

I guess one way would be that once cryptocurrency has established itself as an actual currency, we would be able to be paid in it. Thus, we would be able to avoid CEX's. I am just so tired of exchanges who get so f*cking greedy like Celsius and FTX and end up hurting everyone for their own self benefit.
