Would you consider voting for a presidential candidate due to his stance on crypto?

All Cryptocurrencies

I've heard a lot of chirps from potential presidential candidates about crypto in the last three years. Trump was notorious for being anti-crypto and calling it a scam, and that supporting any other currency than the dollar was unpatriotic.

That was right up until he released his own series of NFTs that surprisingly did kind of well, and probably netted him a large sum.

Biden has called for harsher regulations on crypto, with the argument being that the space was ripe with scams and unregulated trading, but to my knowledge hasn't said anything directly opposing the idea.

All while accepting huge sums of money from FTX, without having any problems with the source being a scam and unregulated exchange.

Now the underdog in the Democratic party, RFK Jr, has come out with open support of crypto and calling for all BTC-USD exchanges to be free from taxes. And is openly accepting campaign donations in BTC, with his campaign having received around $200k as of last week.

Could any politicians stance on crypto actually be trusted, and would it be a fair reason to throw a vote on someone? Financial freedom and CBDCs is sure to play a huge role in the future, so shouldn't it to some degree?

And can any of them be trusted on their stance, or should it be disregarded as just another ploy to get votes?
