Would you hold your BTC if you found out Satoshi...

I've been thinking about BTC and its origin myth (for want of a better term). The mystery around Satoshi Nakamoto's identity and what happened to him/her/them is, to a lot of people, a fun mystery. To others it helps enforce the idea that BTC is truly decentralised.

However, there's a potential dark side to this story - what if Nakamoto wasn't the type of person many presume he was? What if he was a violent criminal, perhaps a child sex offender, or domestic violence perpetrator?

Despite being entirely unrelated to the utility of BTC and cryptocurrency as a whole, do you think you would be as eager to hold onto BTC - knowing about it's creator's sordid past? How much of an effect on the market do you think this revelation would have, and do you think BTC could permanently lose its position as crypto's dominant currency?
