XRP Deposit mistake in Tag

Yes, going ahead, thanks for everyone who will mention what a looser am I :)

Lately I had a serious fu*k up. I've been sending my XRP tokens from one trading platform to Binance and accidentally mismatched 1 symbol in TAG. Respectively I didn't receive my funds. That itself wasn't a huge problem I thought cause I thought I can get the supports help and get my funds back.

But what a disappointment i faced when Support agent told me it's not possible to get them back.

They Just cant take that funds from "other user wallet", it's not how they work. But it doesn't matter that I lost my funds and don't have an advantage over the recipient. Complete insanity but it is what it is.

So agent said the only way to get funds back is to rely on other Users conscience that he will send them back. Otherwise - no chances.

So the question

Did anyone have such experience?

Was it success or not ? If yes, how much time it took to receive funds back ?

Agent said some users in these cases respond in a week, some in month and some (which is no strange) do not respond at all.
