Yesterday It Was Quantum Computers and Today It’s Too Difficult and Too Much Energy

Sure seems like someone or some groups out there besides a certain car person will try anything to hammer bitcoin. Last year all the FUD was around the threat of quantum computers being able to break the encryption of bitcoin and therefore don’t participate in it because that’s dangerous. Now the problem is bitcoin is actually too secure, unnecessarily secure, because it uses a lot of energy to maintain that difficulty, and so you shouldn’t participate in it because anything that uses “too much” energy is just bad. Honestly feels like since no one can control bitcoin, unlike every other asset in existence, that means for whatever reason even antithetical sets of reasons, we should all just stay in our sandbox and quit looking beyond.
