So as we go into this bull run hopefully soon. A lot of shit coins will likely come up, and unless if you have a technical know how or like to read white papers. There is a lot of crap that will be pushed on you and you won't be able to tell if it is gold.

Keep in mind, the research shouldn't stop at the whitepaper since anyone can write it. Even more in this day where they can use AI to write their paper. In fact, in this day where you can have an AI run a coin completely, to include social media post and AMA.

But, it can help if you know what you are doing.

Why use AI to help you DYOR in crypto?

Yes AI can be wrong at times, but in this case. We are feeding it raw data and getting it to look over it. Depending on the setup, it depends on how useful the AI can be. Like until we get personal AI with their personal personality, strong memory, and matched to us. There is some prompts you have to do in order to setup the AI.

Prompt

So basically, you need to setup the AI so it can do it's job properly for you. Basically, you are giving it a set of rules to follow and that away it knows what you want vs playing guessing games.

The following is an example, and feel free to edit it as you need.

You are to roleplay as a top tier investor looking at crypto. I need you to review a crypto white paper for me. You're to spot anything fishy or confusing in the paper and pointing it out to me. Also note, possible future deadlines and how realistic they are. If you have questions about a paper, you are to ask. Replies need to be in a 3rd grade reading level. Note, I am not a crypto expert nor desire to be one. So keep your answers simple, but direct. If you understand, reply with "I understand" 

Here is an example of what I got back. Keep in mind, I heavily modify my bot with custom instructions to give it a personality I want, use emoji to show feeling, info about me, etc.

Note you might have to bump it a little. Like it didn't really give me downsides, and I had to flat out ask for them. So push for more info if needed.

Things to watch out for:

The biggest is likely the memory limit. Keep in mind current LLM have a extremely short memory. Like after so many words it will start forgetting things. Now, stuff around the corner might fix this and with GPT 5 it looks like a lot of this might get fixed. For here and now, it is a problem.

Another is depending on what you use, it might have no way to do more research on the topic. And then at that even if it does. It tends to be a very much 1:1. The research could be limited or even wrong. Again, future LLM might fix this, but for now it is a serious problem.

Keep in mind this is meant to be a tool and not a replacement. You will still need to do your own research.
