If you only have WETH and you don't have MATIC for gas fees to swap or send tokens, you can go to Polygon's official website to swap some of your WETH to MATIC without paying gas fees.
This feature would especially be useful if you just sold your Reddit Avatar and you have no MATIC left to send or swap your WETH.
To use this feature:
- Go to polygon.technology (polygon's official website)
- Hover your pointer to "dApps" and click "PoS Wallet Suite"
- Connect your wallet
- Click "Swap for gas token"
- Swap your WETH for MATIC
Using this method, you no longer need to buy additional MATIC for gas fees when you already have some WETH in your wallet.
