Absolute Scarcity is mentioned a lot, but it gets interesting when you think about it with an infinite time horizon.
Assume that Bitcoin "wins" and continues to accrue value over time forever. Assume that humankind survives and doesn't annihilate itself. There's no limit to how valuable Bitcoin can get right?
What If i set up a smart contract when I die so every year 2% of my stack get distributed to a cause that I believe in?
In 50 years time, maybe that 2% is worth $20,000, but over a longer time horizon that 2% is life changing.
What if we all did the same thing, and funnelled our stored life energy towards helping future generations?
