And now the Republican Party is being Ridiculous. GOP Policy Paper: "Cryptocurrency has been integral to the astonishing rise in ransomware attacks around the globe" They are so damn afraid of crypto these politicians!

The Senate Republican Policy Committee (RPC) released a paper called Cryptocurrency Goes Mainstream. The RPC provides analysis and research to inform the members of the party about various topics.

This specific paper is focussed entirely on crypto. And the very first sentence of the paper ends in "though it could also be used for nefarious purposes such as ransomware attacks."

Then they go on to mention "Cryptocurrency has been integral to the astonishing rise in ransomware attacks around the globe"

This paper isnt meant to be a hit piece because it does mention the benefits of crypto in quite detail as well. But for the love of Satoshi why do these politicians have to blame all crimes on crypto?!

When somebody robs a bank are we supposed to blame Fiat for the robbery?!?
