Safe here means that they don't contain any xpubs or unencrypted info about HD adresses and balances.
I understand that the folders blocks and chainstate are safe, what about "headers" ~300mb and "txfilters" ~2GB???
I can't even find what's in those files online with search.
The strategy is to run sparrow and bitcoin core from a tailsOS encrypted persistent storage installation, but keep all large files and folders mentioned above into an unencrypted drive. The concern is if any xpubs and HD adresses with balances will leak into that other drive - i.e the reason why people advise to run an electrum server on top of core instead. With this strategy, the purpose is for nothing sensitive to be ever written into that other disk - effectively I divided the datadir into 2 parts, using symlinks.
I could accomodate "headers" into the USB drive, but "txfilters" is bulky (but doable as well).
thanks for your replies.
