BAT - surely at least the concept is solid?

I know not everyone is a huge BAT fan and people have concerns about the browser, but I'm holding some purely on the basis that surely the basic premise of getting a small cut of ad revenue in return for accepting notifications is a solid one.

I know they cut the amount you get recently etc. but surely the idea itself is solid. I mean, if a big company is doing a mega sale, e.g. Prime day, and really, really wants your eyeballs to look at a notification saying "Prime Today is Today!!!" - surely that's worth something right?

It may be that BAT doesn't end up being the final implementation of this but surely this is a perfect use case for digital token / currency?
