Binance alternatives? Help me choose

To give you some context, I've been using Binance for a while and they seem to be having legal problems recently. I kinda skipped all the recent updates and shenanigans around exchanges, so im looking to explore alternatives that are compatible with bots.

What do you think are the must-have features or qualities that make an exchange great? Trading options? Available pairs? Fee structure? Liquidity? What exchange are you using currently?
