I am posting this because I am ticked off at Binance for being unprofessional.
2 months ago I saw some fraudulent charges on my Binance card. Some gas station in Indonesia made a series of charges in quick succession and some of them went through. I live in Europe. Roughly $400 worth or fraudulent charges were ok'd by the card network.
I immediately froze the card and opened a support request with Binance. They asked me to write to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) explaining everything, which I did. I received a response back from this email address and I was asked to provide details in a word doc template, which I completed and dutifully sent back within minutes. The "card dispute" people came back saying, yep, we have everything now, give us 5 business days and you'll hear on what we conclude from our investigation. If the conclusion is that these charges are fraud (what else would you conclude!), then we will give you a refund. I waited patiently and wrote back after 5 days, they replied saying, yep, our bad, this is taking long, give us another 3 days. You can guess what happened next.
Fast forward to today, +65 days, and now they don't even respond to my emails. In the meanwhile, I also asked Binance support for the card to be shut down and a replacement card be issued. They have done that, I now have a new card/number.
What are my options for getting a refund/response from "card disputes" besides calling Binance a shitty, unprofessional org and moving on?
