Binance ID Verification - The craziest thing I've ever heard

Has anyone had to deal with this crazy ID verification protocol?

True story:

I am a USA based binance user. Like many, I thought binance was a cool trading platform when it launched. The charts and technical information was the best - even if the login process was blah.

Fast forward 3 years, USA bans binance from operating in america (rightfully so now that I have experienced them). And Binance asks you to empty your wallet before the judgement day countdown. But what happens when you go to transfer coins from your wallet? BOOM! Account transfer disabled due to "suspicious" activity (apparently taking your own money is suspicious).

Okay, well not so bad, guess I have to provide a pic of my ID - fine, what ever. But wait, binance no longer supports ID verification from USA in the drop down.... er... um... okay. So 20 minutes of searching later - I open the chat support.

They seem nice enough... ask me for a pic of my ID and a selfie of my with my ID. Hahah I've heard of this before, think it is cute, okay fine. I provide the info and they unlock my account. cool. So i go to transfer the wallet again, and.... yup... account suspended due to suspicious activity. Okay, aggravation level = 11. Nice little pop up says my request for waiving security process has failed. Hmm that is new.. now it asks to verify my ID. But again, no USA option. Sooo back to chat!

This time, they really want to be sure it is me. Kind of annoyed but this MUST fix it righttt? They ask me for the photos again (I asked dont they have it on file, but they say they need it again)... okie dokie. Then they asking me to make a video of myself logging into Binance. Mind you, to login i have to use Email verification and google 2FA authenticator... then they give me a little script to say, "blah blah, this is my, i verify it is me, i want to have access" - I assume this gives them no liability should my account be hacked. They also ask for my original IP address and date of account registration (back on 2016).. .wow... Okay fine done - sent.

Account is now unlocked and I go to transfer out of my wallet..... you are nervous as I was... yes, you guessed it - LOCKED!! hahahah what the heck is going on here? Back into chat help. This time, they ask me for all the same info yet again and a new one. Get this, they want me to video my login process into my Coinbase account (including showing my email/userID), go into my transaction history and show sent coins with TXID into my binance account.... I am actually blown away. First of all, no, i'm not going to show you my userID to another account. Secondly, how in the fuh does that verify MY identify? Cant anyone send to my wallet if they have my address? If SAM sends me litecoin, is he then ME?!? #mindblown. I refuse to send them the video as it has account information from another platform (my ID and email). They say, it is required.

And here we end the story... Sadly... my account is locked. I have provided all the legitimate ID information and they wont release my account/funds.

I will wait until their joke of a CEO hires someone with a brain and changes their protocols, then maybe i can get my coins. If they havent lost them in one of their numerous site hacks...

I write this to warn all of you - do not use this website, dont be tempted by their nice charts and cool technical information. I know you are thinking, "man, that sucks for you man, sorry, but, you can always provide the info" or maybe you are thinking "wont happen to me". Sure, i get it. But why risk it? What if one of your alt coins explode and you have 12,000% gain on that $2,000 investment? And loh and behold they ask you for some ridiculous thing you cannot or will not provide? Be scared, be warned and be happy friends.
