Bitcoin is not a democracy. Bitcoin is a system which is set on very specific strictly simple and unbreakable rules, in order to emulate the successes and correct the faults of the past. These successes and faults are defined by thousands of years of monetary history. Since the Roman Empire up until now, the ever repeating tale has been that 1. the powers to be have always have a tendency to increase their power and 2. for this always attempted to steal by the manipulation of money and 3. always ended up in disaster after pursuing 2.
Democracy is the best we have, but still full of flaws as we can see every single day. Bitcoin is not affected by the democratic flaws, like the irrational human desires or an upper class that has successfully co-opted almost every branch of power and culture in our society. Bitcoin is immune to all of this, among others, bcos it is not democracy
This thought came up as a contrast to all the Web3 platforms, with their "inclusivity" and "good governance". It doesn't matter if its really intended by the founders or just pretended, I believe time will show that it has no value. These people haven't yet grasped fully where the revolution really is.
