In my spare time I like two things: Bitcoin and F1. These are globally followed movements, with hundreds of billions of dollars moving through them each year. And interest in Bitcoin/crypto is exploding.
So why is the coverage not as good as MMA or football? Even SpaceX launches have amazing presenters who really know their technicals. Crypto news is either stale and technical or dumbed down and shilly.
Of the few *somewhat* credible crypto YouTubers (eg cryptosrus, coin bureau) they have payment walls for genuinely insightful content. Some of these channels shill in exchange for payment.
The really good *Bitcoin* content on channels like The Investors Podcast, Saifedean Ammous or What Bitcoin Did are for people who are already deeeeeply immersed in Bitcoin, and are a little stale...it's usually just two people on videochat for 40 minutes. It ain't no Joe Rogan.
What is missing from Bitcoin/crypto coverage? A long form podcast (2+ hours) every week? A slick, daily, 5 minute news bulletin? A Mark Rober style episode once a month that's pre-recorded where a presenter meets with developers in their offices or travels to El Salvidor/Nigeria to see what's happening?
I used to produce video content, and would love to hear from anyone who has passion to get something going, and experience either infront of or behind the camera. Let's do this!
