A new mega cooperation is on the horizon. Adidas and Coinbase want to work together in the future. It is not yet clear what this will involve.
German sporting goods giant Adidas has entered into a partnership with Coinbase.
The US crypto exchange responded to the post with a handshake emoji, writing, "Welcome to the party, partner!"
Details on the scope of the cooperation are not yet known. Neither company issued a statement at this time. It would be conceivable, however, that Adidas would want to rope in Coinbase for its plans to penetrate the metaverse.
Only yesterday, the sporting goods manufacturer had revealed any plans on Twitter and thus reacted to competitor Nike, which had already announced steps into the virtual space before.
