Bull and Bear tokens?

Excuse my ignorance, I’m still somewhat new to crypto. After digging deeper I discovered 3x coins. I’ve read and I think I somewhat understand the mechanics and I like the idea, I’m just wondering if they’re good for long term holds (like 6 months - 1 year +)? I understand they rebalance daily and all that, but I don’t see what stops me from holding them longer if they don’t liquidate. For example, and just hypothetical, say I buy 1000 3x Long XRP tokens and eventually the price goes to $1000, would it be worth $1M or no? Any info is appreciated, I’m just trying to figure out if they could be used as long term holds. Thanks
