Hi all,
This post is a warning to everyone using the ByBit exchange. I opened an account a few days ago through a referral to support a crypto channel that helped me a lot over the years.
Deposited aroound 2k USD into Bybit and started doing some trading. After a few days I decided that I prefer my previous exchange so I tried transferring USDT. The request was denied and I got an email stating that my account is banned.
I tried contacting customer service, they are nonexistent. I also found out that this issue is quite common and it took people several months to get their account unlocked and funds returned. As of right now I just want to get money off this crappy exchange and be done with them.
