I keep hearing about market manipulation and whales or institutions creating and spreading FUD.
But I don't get it. I guess the 'whales' isn't any kind of cooperative association coordinating its action, but rather many individual persons or institutioms competeng against eaah other.
How can anyone no matter how rich go against the market and don't be punished by other whales?
Similar reasoning is accepted by this comunity when we say nation states are very unlikely to cooperate to kill bitcoin. Why doesn't the same logic apply to whales?
