Can I send money to myself internationally using crypto?

Crypto newbie here. I know next to nothing about it so please explain it to me in the simplest terms if possible. I live in Finland and work remotely from Canada. I just moved into my new apartment in Finland and my first month's rent is due soon. I need to transfer money from my Canadian bank account to my Finnish bank account and I heard Crypto is a faster and cheaper alternative than say, PayPal or Wise. For the deposit I used PayPal and the fees and transfer time was ridiculous.

Could anyone tell me if you recommend Crypto to do this or should I continue using money transfer sites? If I were to use Crypto, where do I buy it from? What coin should I use? What are the fees? What is the process and how long does it take to receive the money in my other bank account? And for future reference, can you buy Crypto with a credit card?

I couldn't find any easy or direct instructions for this online so I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!
