No major spoilers… Mission Impossible has jumped on the AI and crypto bandwagon. Crypto payment is held on a drive and it is referenced throughout the movie. Not as Bitcoin or Ethereum but just generically as crypto. There is also a strange scene where they are “Decrypting Blockchain” with a loading bar which mostly seemed to be for dramatic effect. According to the article linked below “Tom has trained with a crypto bro for weeks to get his terminology absolutely perfect.”
What do you guys think about crypto popping up in movies? Seems to be the payment system for “criminals” and not casual usage. Still it helps keep crypto relevant and in the public lexicon.
