I have a substantial amount of capital and I would like to quit my day job and work 100% full time in crypto. Ideally, I would like to work for myself. I live near Boston, MA... about 15 minutes from downtown.
Is it reasonable to get a money transmitter license, register with FinCen and open up an in-person currency exchange? Perhaps I could help boomers learn to use crypto and charge an hourly rate. Perhaps I could start a consulting business and charge $150 / hr to explain crypto to people.
What are the potential pitfalls of trying to start a crypto business and what ideas do you have for crypto businesses? I'd like to brainstorm .
