Cryptocurrency will overtake the current financial system. It won't be today, but in 10 years, the landscape will be much different. In 20 years, it'll be a normal way of life and that generation will wonder why we do things in such an antiquated way? They'll question why couldn't we see what was so obvious to them?

It takes 2-3 days to cash out stocks. Another day to transfer from your stock account to your banking account. Stock market is Monday - Friday 9-5. Crypto market is 24/7, 7 days a week. Most banks are Monday - Friday 9-5 with an added in Saturday of 10-3 and Sundays off. Oh, and holidays closed.

Not that big of an improvement from 20+ years ago, when banks were strictly Monday - Friday 9-5.

People want things instantly. We don't like waiting. As technology speeds up, we become less patient. The financial industry is no different and the last thing people want, is to have to wait 3-5 business days for their money.

Just like how this current generation wants instantaneous streaming for their movies and video games, the next generation is going to expect the same for their money. The next generation isn't going to put up with waiting 3-5 days to get their funds. They're going to want it in seconds.

(Yes, I've been trying to buy the dip for the last few days. Yes I know, have some powder on the side).

Edit: Turns out it's not one day to transfer from your own your stock account to your banking account. Transfers can take anywhere from three to seven days. Transfers from other institutions can take two to six weeks. Even more bullish on the disruption of crypto to the financial banking sector. Lesson learned, have more fiat money on the side for such dips.
