Decentralised social media and video sharing platform cannot arrive sooner

One who controls information controls the world, not only they control the past but also the future.

There have been numerous cases of facebook stealing info and promoting violant posts (during the Trump supporters storming), youtube silencing creators with certain opinions or not recommending their videos to anyone and even reddit banning people without explanation.

And even if these events would not have occurred it's still not a good idea to give so much power to central corporations. Information about people should be controlled by people and decentralised social media platforms are the solution.

I am not shilling any specific coin or project here but such projects are something to certainly keep an eye on.
