Do you guys think the United States is actually a kleptocracy?

Kleptocracy according to Wikipedia: A government whose corrupt leaders (kleptocrats) use political power to appropriate the wealth of the people and land they govern, typically by embezzling or misappropriating government funds at the expense of the wider population.

I've heard of military projects buying screws for $50 each as a way for people in the government to give government funds to their corporate friends, for example. I'm also worried about inflation, since the Federal Reserve is private and all, but the biggest concern in my opinion is the possible existence of secret bank accounts that have dizzying amounts of money in them. I don't know if that picture is real, though, of course. I have no idea what goes on at the top, and the fact that it's so shadowy is concerning in and of itself. Then again, maybe that's natural. It has to be in the military, for example.

Sorry to only ask about the United States, but that's where I live. Feel free to answer about your country if you don't live in the US.

Mods, you know this relates to bitcoin so I hope this post doesn't get scrapped.
