Some people in this sub recently joined the crypto space, while others are veterans.
I'm only two years into crypto, so I wasn't around when the only way to buy Bitcoin was to meet a stranger and hand him cash, but it's pretty objective that a lot has changed. Still, I often read people lamenting that crypto is still far away from mass adoption. With this discussion, I would like to know your vision of the route that crypto is traveling. Do you think that this space is continuously improving or do you see it stagnating?
For example, one of the critiques I often see being addressed to crypto is that it's too complex (and according to some: it always will be). I think that this may be true, especially when you're new to the tech, but that doing basic transactions is not more difficult than doing a normal bank transfer, once you've learned it. Also, we often read Vitalik's words about Ethereum upgrades that will make addresses and wallets much easier to use. So it appears to me that certain things are destined to improve.
On the other hand though, almost every day we hear news of a new hack suffered by some DeFi protocol, which is the same thing that worried me when I first entered the space. Another thing that hasn't changed is the vast presence of scammy projects and useless shitcoins, and I suspect this aspect isn't going to change soon.
In conclusion, are you positive that the current flaws will disappear?
Thank you for your answers!
