Don't be like me. Get yourself a hardware wallet. MetaMask wallet was drained and I'm not even sure how.

Absolutely devastated. I've lost my bag of beloved ETH, as well as a sizeable amount another favourite of mine, LINK, both of which were being stored in my MetaMask wallet. Worst of all, I have a Ledger Nano X on the way which I ordered a couple of days ago because I had decided that with the amount of funds I have in crypto, keeping it in cold storage was long overdue. I'm not the most tech savvy person, so in hindsight, I should have done this long ago. Now a whole year of accumulating is down the shitter.

To make matters worse, I have severe anxiety as a result of OCD and perfectionist tendencies, which only compound the gut wrenching feeling of losing a significant amount of my net worth. Because of this I feel physically sick, and can barely eat nor sleep.
