Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook and the rest of Big Tech are smart. They realize that the metaverse is the future of Big Tech. The metaverse is trending at the moment largely because of recent Facebook initiatives.
Facebook, Roblox, Epic Games and Nvidia's Omniverse explicitly, and the rest of the Big Tech, in general, are focused on VR and are on a mission to control the metaverse.
I was a huge fan of fintech (Square, Sea Limited, etc.) until I fell down the blockchain/crypto rabbit hole. Many of us have subsequently fell down the metaverse rabbit hole. We need a DeFi-like blockchain sea change for the metaverse.
