I am new to crypto currency and I'm looking for advice.
Recently I decided to buy a little ETH and create an anonymous wallet. This was just an exercise, to get me started.
Using only a small amount of money to begin with, I went through the various processes and the final step was the transfer of my balance to the anonymous wallet via a mixer service.
I chose Ether Mixer.
I made the transfer but, with no advance warning of the cost of gas and the fees, I found that the amount I transferred was below their ETH0.02 threshold.
I could see the money, sitting in the Ether Mixer account, but it did not leap into my account because it was too small an amount.
I thought about this, and I took some advice, and in the end I topped up the transfer to push it above their lower limit. I hoped this would trigger the mix and transfer.
It did not.
I have contacted Ether Mixer via the form on their website. In fact, I tried contacting them before topping up and since, a few times. I have received no response.
In total, this has cost my about $100 so we're not talking big bucks. But I wanted to know if there is any way I can get my money back?
Does anyone have any ideas?
Is Ether Mixer a scam or a legitimate business?
