Fantasy Sports x Blockchain

I just wanted to throw this idea out there because I have no idea how to go about getting this off the ground or if someone out there is already working on it (probably - although players in this space are big, slow laggards.. yahoo.. espn.. sleeper) I can easily see the connections between L2 rollups, wrapped tokens, sports betting, leverage & statistics.. I mean a player could mint a coin/smart contract that created an immutable, indexable recording of their stats and L2 solutions could facilitate referencing those stats on chain and issuing payouts via smart contract when conditions are met such as a score or other reached condition. Just a thought! What do ya’ll think about the idea? Pease let me know if you’re already aware of other projects out there already focused on this area (:
