Do NOT talk about how much cryptocurrency you have. EVER.

If somebody presses you for an answer, the only answer is "not enough". Frankly, your Reddit profiles are a data mine of information about you as a user, and a significant number of you are likely using the same name on other accounts that may have your email address or have experienced leaks. All of this just lays a roadmap for malicious individuals to target your accounts at retail/custody institutions.

2ish years ago I had a friend who got published in a local news article about bitcoin. Within 48 hours his phone sim was transferred, and he was getting emailed about recovery info for several of his accounts. Do not think just because you're a small player you are not a target. It's always about the low hanging fruit.
