Hard to feel hype with small money.

I love that Bitcoin is on a bull run. It's definitely eye opening for non-believers. I've told my wife we need to invest in it years ago and she never had the confidence to put our money into the market. I've been putting in what I can on my own, but we're talking about a few hundred dollars. When I look at my portfolio and see a gain of $100, I think it's neat, but it's not life changing. The extra money is a drop in the bucket compared to life expenses. I have a small fraction of Bitcoin and although I do put in whatever I can, I'm not seeing effective gains. Anyone else in a similar boat? I'm thinking of cashing out, waiting for a dip, then getting back in to maximize. We all know how risky that can be though.
