Help needed for research project on DeFi

Hi, i'm a college student from the University of Mumbai majoring in Finance, and I have my final project submission coming up in a month. I have chosen "Decentralized Finance" as a topic (exact topic not fixed), and i need a little help in terms of where to get started. I have some rudimentary understanding of crypto-currencies and haven't explored DeFi as much yet. Here are some thigs i would like to highlight:

1. Setting up context: What is DeFi and how it differs from traditional finance? Baseline information to make the reader understand how the authority is taken away from centralised institutions.
2. Future Possibilities: How will it change the current landscape of financial services, and what new concepts could come out of this?
3. Is it really "Decentralised" (as of today)?: With centralised exchanges ruling the trade of cryptocurrencies that are required for using these platforms, and existing institutions (both state and private) trying to jump on the bandwagon and "re-centralise" cryptocurrencies and DeFi as a whole... is DeFi as we know it gonna end up being "truly decentralised"?
4. Future scalibility and viability: Economically, Environmentally, and Socially (in terms of accessibility and adoption)

Now within this structure, i would like to get sources of information that are actually reliable and not just marketing fluff. Send away as much information as you can towards these concepts and please feel free to provide further suggetions on what i can add/improve/cover in a more concrete manner.

Also let me know what terminologies & core concepts i must acquaint myself with when it comes to all this.
