I have been reading The Bitcoin Standard recently and my god it amazes me that how much the history just repeats itself.
Especially the Roman empire downfall. I almost feel other historians haven't done enough justice in telling the full truth which was mainly contributed by bad economic decisions.
It should be the common knowledge to not repeat the mistakes of our ancestors, but here we are living in the world of fiat and see misery and hardships all around us.
